21st July - Probably the most Intelligent WOD you'd ever do

Tonight we did a session dedicated to one of our most passionate members Emile who is leaving our shores to work overseas for a while.

Emile put to us a great idea for a fun farewell.

We did a multievent Team WOD that incorporated some rowing with an intelligent twist. Emile provided an exam paper (Key Stage 3 level 3-7) to  complete amqap (as many questions as possible) in the 'rest periods.

Here's how it worked:

Teams of 4 (or 3)

WOD 1

Row 3km (any number of team member transition allowed) - Cap time of 15 minutes

On finishing the row, in time remaining of 15 minutes complete as many questions from the Exam paper as possible

WOD 2

In 5 minutes - As many reps as possible between the team of Wall ball

In 5 minutes - AMRAP of Pull ups

Then 3 minutes to make further progress in the Exam paper

WOD 3

In 5 minutes - AMRAP double unders

In 5 minutes - AMRAP of overhead squats (40/20kgs)

Then 3 minutes to make further progress in the Exam paper

Score is total answers answered correctly ;o)

Papers are now at the examination board

Well done all, it was some of the best fun I'd seen in a long time.

Thanks Emile for your dedication and support to CFR in the past years and hope to see you again soon.

Best of luck to you and Chiara.

You will be missed.
